In 1975 The Worldwide Church of God published this booklet. In the mid 1990s the church modified its doctrinal position and no longer holds to a doctrine of mandatory tithing. It nevertheless presents a number of arguments that are accepted by remaining tithe funded church organisations today. This booklet is in the form of a picture pdf file which takes some time to load. This article was reported by The Journal to have been based on a sermon Mr. Walker delivered in Gilmer - Texas, on May 8th 1999.
